The Ceduna Hospital is SA's last Hospital on the main highway leading to Western Australia. It provides acute beds, 24 hour accident and 24 hour emergency, high level aged care beds and more.

Ceduna District Health Services provides high and low level aged care beds at the 'Senior Citizen's Village' plus independent living units.

The GP Plus Health Care Centre in Ceduna is a 'One Stop Shop' for all health care needs including general practitioner, allied health, dental health, mental health, home and community care, midwifery, community health services and primary health care to provide an integrated approach to delivering health services.

Combining acute hospital and primary health care services in the one facility means the community can receive the most appropriate method of care, quickly and easily.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.00pm (via the main reception point at the Ceduna District Health Services entrance)
After hours medical services are available from the Ceduna Hospital 24 hours a day (via the Casualty Emergency entrance).


Ceduna/Koonibba Aboriginal Health Service

CKAHS provides primary health care, transport, referrals and preventative health care to meet the needs of Aboriginal persons in Ceduna and Districts. To make an appointment telephone (08) 8625 3699.

Ceduna/Koonibba Aboriginal Health Service provides Aboriginal Aged Care at Seaview Village, Thevenard.


Ceduna Day Centre

The Ceduna Day Centre provides free confidential treatment, counselling and case management for Aboriginal people concerned about drug and alcohol problems.

The centre also provides clients of the service, free breakfast and lunch, showers, laundry facilities and diversionary activities.

Clients can visit the centre to access services at 3 Kuhlmann Street, Ceduna, during regular business hours. To make an appointment telephone (08) 8625 3530.
