Eyre Peninsula Natural Resources Management Board Levy

That pursuant to Section 95 of the Natural Resource Management Act 2004 and Section 154 of the Local Government Act 1999, the following separate rate of $61.86 per assessment be declared on all rateable land in the Council area in order to reimburse the amount the Council will contribute to the Eyre Peninsula Natural Resources Management Board for the year ending 30 June 2013.

The Council is required to collect this revenue and pay the amount collected to the Board to assist in funding the operations of the Board. It does not retain this revenue or determine how the revenue is spent, nor does it determine the amount of the levy to be collected.
