In 2000/01, the aquaculture industry on Eyre Peninsula recorded sales of $428.5 million and employed directly and indirectly 1,944 people.
The trail allows people to undertake tours of a vast variety of commercial facilities, where participants will receive a working insight on how each business and industry operates from their tour guide.
The industries involved vary in size from multi million dollar operations to small family run businesses. There are twelve tours available, stretching from Whyalla to Ceduna along the pristine coastline of Eyre Peninsula.
