Clean Up Australia Day

A big Thank You to all of the Clean Up Australia Day participants in 2015.

In 2015 there was an estimated 526,268 volunteers who cleaned up 13,563 tonnes of rubbish at 6,165 clean up sites over the week of Clean Up Australia Day action 24 February 2015 to 1 March 2015.

The District Council of Ceduna looks forward to seeing you next year for the 26th Clean Up Australia Day, on Sunday 6 March 2016.

In the meantime, if you want to organise a clean up, it is still possible. Simply register your site as an Every Day Clean Up site at http://www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/

“Clean Up Australia” day can be any time of the year. If planning  to do a clean-up, organise it through the “Clean up Australia” site as they can guide, help and assist you to get your project up and running, they also can supply the  safety gear for the clean-up, bags, gloves etc.. You can also join in an existing site or you may want to support “Clean Up Australia” by donating to the site/course. “Clean Up Australia” assist in working with committees to help them learn to live with the challenges, this site is not government funded, is not for profit and relies on these donations to mobiles hundreds of thousands of Australians to produce a fundamental and positive change.
